This is kind of a rant but, my job seems to be
struggling financially and I am starting to get
frustrated with it. It seems every week they
hit us with another shocker. It started out with
them firing a senior engineer seemingly out of
no where (“due to performance issues”), but
then they went on to talk about our financial
loss and how we are starting a brand new
project to try gain money. Just recently they
announced they are outsourcing 6 developers
from Thailand. When someone asked they
straight up admitted it was due to money
issues and they could outsource 6 devs for
the price of one us based dev. I really am
getting frustrated and paranoid that I'll be
booted out next and am disposable since they
can hire someone out of the us for 1/6th of
my pay :/….
