Denied a raise. Asked to commit fraud instead.

(please no American legal advice. I am not American) So I finally asked my manager for a raise. I make €1800 / month, as a team leader, and my team members only work part time and make at least €1000 / month (for half my hours), which of course means that per hour, they actually make more than me. Which is, imo, absolutely insulting, especially bc my newest colleague is an absolute moron who i basically need to spend a huge chunk of my time babysitting. I work hella long ours as well, and sometimes on weekends, though i don't get any compensation for that. So i finally asked fo a raise. And i was brushed off, appearently, raises can only ne given at the beginning of each year. I've not been with the company a full year yet and didn't know this. It's insulting. I give so damn much…

So instead of a formal raise, I was told to just write more kilometers than i drive, because we get compensation for driving. Basically, committing fraud. Also, hella time consuming fraud bc i obviously couldn't claim to have driven 200 km in one trip, and we have to put in every trip separately.

This is not right, i honestly can't believe that i am just literally told to do something like that. I have always tried to do everything right, the way i was told is correct. And now, if i do this, i have to fear that if they ever have any issues with me, they have a reason to fire me with no repercussions served on a sliver platter – after all, that would be fraud, that would be lying, even if i was told to do it. they always have the perfect reason to fire me at hand, if they know i am doing it.

It is so insulting. I mean I didn't ask for a huge raise, just so that it is fair compared to my team (appearently there is some law dictating better pay for part time work? idk). I've been given this company my all, working my ass off, caring way too much about quality.

But sure, they can't be keep their employees and they can't find new ones. I wonder why. guess nobody wants to work anymore.
