So I've been with the same company, doing okay for almost a decade, but I'd like to make a little more, and move to an area where that's feasible, so naturally, I'm shopping around, and think I might have found a winner.
So I find their info, and manage to get in touch with their HR personnel, and I'm going over some questions that I've got written down. Things are okay, pretty good rate of pay, it's a union facility, I'm not a fan of 12's but I'll work them, whatever.
So then I hit paid vacation. And she tells me that for a one year (12 month period) I get 4. That's right, FOUR days of PTO. It's disgraceful. It's disgusting.
I'm still in shock, I'm torn between being pissed off and laughing at the sheer audacity.
