“Work From Home Burnout”

My job responsibilities are changing slightly, and as such I needed to have a conversation with my boss. Since the pandemic my then-fully-on-site job moved to nearly full WFH. My boss isn't especially keen on my team's full work from home status, and I was prodded a few different ways to come back into the office. First it was office culture (again, the rest of my team is fully remote – what culture is gained for me in person), then it was appearances, then finally the gem of all gems: They were worried about me experiencing work from home burnout. The conclusion: A quick “Couldn't I just come in office if I burn out?” … and the topic was dropped. Not trading back in my sweat pants, thanks.
