So I work for an international chain company in their manufacturing team. Management overall is bad, bad leadership, communication and generally moral at work is pretty low because of how strict our KPI'S are. Talking for the most part is frowned upon, phones are forbidden unless you're a manager (once my dog died and my family couldn't contacted me so I think this rule is beyond stupid). Plus alot of other bullshit involving our breaks and the leeway in-between them (we get one 10 minute paid break but if we come back at 12 minute we don't get paid). We have to sterile our hands, put on our equipment and hair nets before walking onto the floor so it takes time in and out. Anyway it's a shit company with okay pay.
Anyway I was grabbing pallets, they were all placed pretty high ontop of eachother and weren't put on correctly so when I grabbed one it started to fall ontop of Me. My shift manager started to yell at me asking why would I grab a pallets knowing it would fall on me. Why would I do something so OBVIOUSLY stupid. And when I tried to readjust it he yelled at me to stop and leave it alone (even though it was clearly falling on me) I continued to readjusts it until it was stable and he just yelled. There were 3 other shift managers, none of them helped me and none of them even told this dude to stop yelling at me. Anyway today one of them (shift manager) who saw it came up to me and said I should file an formal complaint….why couldn't she of just had my back. Idk is it unprofessional to tell your coworker to stop being a dick?
