My last job I was there for a year. I worked 3rd shift stocking shelves while I finished my Bachelor's in Management for 14 bucks an hour. When I was hired, I had 1 interview, hired on the spot.
Before that, I had 2 years in customer service, where I got lots of awards and did well in. I also worked taking care of disabled people for 5 years and had lots of positive recognition for that.
I interviewed at Aldi now twice and about to be a third. First was a phone interview. Let them know about my experience. I need a job, but I'm low key annoyed with this process.
My in person interview, dude ran all over the store working while I tried to basically tell him about my previous experience and trying to keep up while wearing uncomfortable dress shoes. He said because it's a fast paced job. Which I know all about. I was stocking shelves at my last job, nothing I don't already know about/not used to. I'm not obese or severely out of shape or have any physical disability that would make him think I can't do the job.
Now I have to go do a 3rd interview. I have other jobs I've set up interviews with, and who have emailed me and called me. I'm going to go to the 3rd interview but if there are anymore beyond that I don't know if I can. 2 interviews for a retail job should be sufficient.
My last job pay was 14 an hour. Pay for this job is 15.
