Basically this is what it comes down to. I don't want regular workplace violence between management and regular workers. We should aim for harmony and where both management and workers can be respected and win.
But we all know people take advantage of other people. And if management wants to work me all week and all weekend, for no overtime pay, basically exploiting me, explain to me why I shouldn't have the right to punch them in the face.
Corporations and management have been getting away with murder because they know we won't do anything. Worst case scenario, we quit. That's why they all can treat us like shit. I worked all week, and irked today and will work tomorrow and upcoming week for no overtime pay. (Overtime pay exempt for accounting).
So if I'm being exploited and not even getting paid for it, why shouldn't i have the right to physically attack the management?
They can exploit every last bit of energy out of me… shorten my life expectancy through stress and health related issues due to overworking. And i have absolutely nothing except to quit and find another job to exploit me?
Back in the old days, we would have a revolution and demand proper treatment and kill anyone that opposed us.
Where has that spirit gone?
