Recently I've had the dream of just working like 8 to 14 years and then retiring, going to some equatorial Island, buying a small house and living the rest of my days bicking, swiming, windsurfing, sailing there. Essentially living my best life. I know i'll be done with college when i'm 25 so if I want to still physically be able to do any of that when I retire I gotta hurry up…
The job i'm aiming for pays well but I think i'm not the first one to have such a dream so it doesn't pay very well for the first 3 years, then pays relatively, then pays very well after 10 years…
If it payed very well right away it would only take 13 years for me to retire at 38 and live 50 years with 500 to 600 euros a month and a 200 000 to 300 000 euros house for the rest of my days. Easy and nice…
But I guess they know we want to be free and alive so instead it's 18 years of work, retire at 43 years old… At this point it not as much worth it, everyone just keeps on working the last 15 to 20 years… No one actually does it, this system knows how to keep us working.
Essentially, even if you study for years to get a hight paying job in homes of retiring early and making the most out of the only life you have… Well don't get your homes up, the system knows how to keep you working :/ There's an unbridgeable gap between “hight pays jobs” and unimagicably rich CEOS… So yeah, even the manager hight pays ahole job twice superior to the one of other employee is also design to be a hell hole of a working trap. It's easier to survive sure but nowhere near enought to be free, to match those aholes CEOS making enought to achieve the dreams I have in only 2 years of work for most of them, in only 1 month of work to some of them, and in only 1 hour of work for the richest ones… This World makes no fucking sense.
