Mess with my schedule and my pay, I don’t work. Sorry.

I just picked up a job doing overnight order picking for a big box store. The schedule I agreed to do was 2:00am-10:30am. There is a shift differential of $1.00 to work this shift, which is the only way I would elect to do the job. Otherwise, in my opinion the pay is too low. They had me come in from 1pm-5pm Friday for orientation. Said my first shift would be immediately that next morning at 2am. Had a great shift, really loved the job and the work is relatively easy. Next shift immediately after? 7am-3:30pm. Not only is this the opposite of my sleep schedule that I've now trained myself for (to prepare for the 2am shift), but I don't even make the money I am supposed to be making because there is no shift differential. Ended up going in after trying to sleep for a poor 4 hours…

Ended up going in after trying to sleep for a poor 4 hours where my body was at anything but rest and told my boss after 1.5 hours that I was going home for the day. That I'm more than happy to come in for the shift I'm supposed to work, but that's all.

She wants me to call her before her shift ends today and talk about it with her. At this point I don't care if they fire me. They can either have me at the time/pay discussed or not at all.
