After getting a glimpse at what a four day week would look like, going back to five days is just straight up depressing.

In Australia, with Easter, Anzac Day (25/4) & Labour Day (2/5), we've just had four straight four day work weeks. And it's been amazing. I've gone back to work at the end of each break fully rested, and not feeling like shit. My wife is 39 weeks pregnant, but we've had the time to do all of the things we need to do around the house in preparation for the baby, as well as go out and spend time as a family. That extra day on each weekend has made a huge difference in our lives. I'm in sales, and last month was one of the best months I've had here sales-wise, despite work time dropping by 20%. I'm in sales, and last month was one of the best months I've had here sales-wise, despite work time dropping by 20%. I got all of my tasks and reports done, and actually signed up more contracts than I have in the last few months. I honestly believe it's because I was more rested than I otherwise would have been. My coworker is the same, more work done with better results, in much less time.

I actually love my job. But after getting a brief glimpse at what a 4 day week could do for me and my family, I'm really struggling with the idea of going back.

I don't know what the point of this post was, I just wanted to get it all out I guess.

Eat the rich.
