Work 2 small separate jobs. I can not explain enough how much this has helped me mentally. You'll also notice that for part time work the hourly wage seems to be higher (UK) so if you can double that you're in, I work 9 till 1 for £11/hr and then 1530 to 1730 for £12/hr, the big ol' break inbetween jobs helps. I've found it also breaks up the monotony of 8/10/12hr shifts for me too and because the amount of hrs is so small each job fly's by.
