The word “boss” just irks me. My friends always talk about their “bosses”, but I usually correct them. I believe the word “employer” is more correct. With the word “boss” there's an implication someone owns you. Like a dog. Someone who pays me for my time isn't my boss, that someone is my employer. Thanks for listening to my rant.
