Just started at the new job on May 1, I worked overtime the first week due to training. They just tried to call me in on my day off and, for the first time ever, I put my family first and said no. Tonight is my Mother's Day dinner with my children. I feel really bad for leaving them in the lurch but, I just left a company that did this all the time. Thanks to this sub, I am advocating for myself. Actually, I feel GOOD for saying no.
