Supervisor furious at me for charging company BBQ as comp time

For frame of reference, where I work has an annual company BBQ in May. This is the first one we’re having since 2019 since society has decided that COVID is over despite everything showing that it is not! Next Friday we have our BBQ and attendance is mandatory. Our Friday schedule ends at 430pm so the geniuses who organized the party felt that the party would best be served from 3-7pm. Because the party runs 2.5 hours over the normal work day on my time sheet I logged it as a company event and since it will go past 80 hours I logged the additional 2.5 hours as comp time. Supervisor immediately and annoyingly comes to my cube and circles the comp time to remove. Told him I’ll only do that if I leave at 430 and begrudgingly he said fine. Fine by me either way I leave when I should and I don’t have to pretend to be friends with my boss. Enough time to get a free meal. Seems like a win.
