So I’ve worked in the company for a while and I worked at a different branch life was good there never had any issues. But at this other branch left right centre there’s an issue I’m so confused.
Sometimes I think I can be a bit blunt but I’ve never had issues to this extent.
So last week at work I was looking for something and this other lady who’s not a manager just likes to do their work for them asked me what I was looking for….I said “it doesn’t matter” because I could not find it. Then she asked me again I said “nothing” then she asked again….I repeated and said nothing. The issue here is she’s a bit extreme and people have quit because of this person because she’s very condescending and low-key she scares me so I’d rather die than ask her for anything lol.
She also raised her voice at me during this interaction which I thought was weird I’m 20 not 5 please relax.
I’m torn as to what to do as at my other branch I never had an issue with management or any of the wannabe managers so I’m just confused.
My next shift is Saturday and I know someone will probably want to have a word with me about that interaction lol.
It’s a retail job it’s nothing too special I just liked the company because my experience was very good and I never had any problems in the past.
I’m at University and I like having extra money but even my parents are tired of my work bs because I low-key I now get anxious to go into work even woke up in a pool of sweat before yikes.
I’m made for retail I can work in retail never had an issue with anyone even when I was 16 at my first job it was bloody shit at McDonald’s getting £5 an hour but back then I was just excited to work and pay for some of the nice things I wanted at that age
