I needed a part time job for the summer. I was looking for 20 hrs/week. When I got hired at a local restaurant, I told my boss what I was looking for, and what days I was available.
He scheduled me for all of the days I said I could work. I was working 39 hrs/week. I changed my availability to only two days so that I would get the hours I wanted. I came in the next day and he told me I would be on dishes rather than the position I applied for because of my limited availability.
