Just wanted to share that I submitted a one week notice today and boss was absolutely furious. They asked “So you’re not going to work out a two week notice?!” to which I said I did not have the time to do so. I said I would also be taking my leftover PTO time during this period before leaving. They repeatedly said they were so disappointed I was not submitting two weeks which is laughable as I’ve been training my replacement for 4 months and they were aware months ago I would be moving out of state which is why this was even happening. I tried giving them a copy of the resignation letter I wrote and they refused to take it from me and told me to email it to them.
It is just so funny how delusional and toxic the people at this place are to think I owe them any more loyalty or courtesy after everything I have done for them and the way I have been treated.
