I'm leaving my job because I was refused a COL raise after sticking it out during a year when 4 of my colleagues left and weren't replaced (you can guess what happened to their workloads). When I handed in my notice after securing an offer for more money elsewhere (woohoo!), they denied me the bonus I was promised for helping the company do well during the most recent fiscal year. Adding insult to injury, the bonus was about £1100 which is a lot of money for me, but pennies to this very large international company.
I'm wrapping up my last few days and preparing the OOO message that will bounce back when people try to email me after my final day. Think, 'funsizejj has now left the company, please direct any messages to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).' I'd like to include an antiwork-related quote at the bottom- nothing too aggressive, just a reminder that companies need to do better and should be providing a living wage. Any suggestions?
