Bringing down systematic nepotism, harassment, and retaliation

There is one family that has members or close friends at almost every level of the agency, from Vice President to HR to maintenance. For DECADES, they have controlled who gets hired (b/c of HR) and made false accusations against those they don’t like to get them fired so someone they know can get the position.
For example, this article failed to mention that the girl (Aja) who led the accusations against my husband was GIVEN his position once he got terminated.

Before he got fired, a family member would literally walk behind him and call him a child to try and get a rise out of him. When he would ask them to stop and stated we have foster kids and he needs this job, they responded “I don’t care about your kids.” He has 80 hours of recordings like this.

However, we don’t put up with this. They have destroyed the livelihoods of so many people because they can. So, we have a lawyer, made a FOIA request (of which the 4000 documents are currently under review by lawyers), are receiving mediation through the EEOC (because all new hires are women except my husband), have a meeting with the Senator, and have the FBI involved to investigate sexual assault claims that the family hid.

We plan to make enormous financial demands for the financial and emotional stress this has caused. We plan to keep going until the problems are cleared out of the agency. We plan to put restraining orders in place. We plan to go to court and air all of the dirty laundry if we have to. And, ultimately, we plan to demand his job back with a contract extension. Anything else they would try would be retaliation, and we plan to live a very comfortable life where he is basically untouchable and can just do the job he loves.
