There is no such thing as “Enough”

I'm two weeks in to my second month at my new job. I work for in a sales position for a debt relief company. Functionally, I feel like I'm doing great. I'm the top of my team as a new guy, which in it self is a good feeling, and I've enrolled over half a million dollars in debt. This puts me over 200% of my monthly goal, and we're only halfway into the month. My company's cut is 25%. So just in the past two weeks, I've brought in roughly $125,000 in company revenue. My company's cut is 25%. So just in the past two weeks, I've brought in roughly $125,000 in company revenue. My comp on that is less than 1%. My boss told me constantly how I'm kicking ass as the new guy.

Well today I wasn't feeling good. I'm supposed to take x new leads a day. I did them all. After that, I just signed off for an hour or so, a little longer. I get messaged from my boss after an hour asking what I'm doing.

The fuck does it matter? He ends up calling me, telling me how I need to stay available, as I could be missing potential leads.

I've literally closed double what I'm expected to for the month, but that's not enough. The only thing these companies always want is more. They just want to work you to the bone and maximize profits. I am feeling exhausted.
