I think I’m on the verge of getting fired for the first time. is it difficult to get approved for unemployment?

I've been with the company for over 2 years. No official write ups but twice in the last month they have called me into the office for small things and told me that I'm replaceable. I can wait to get fired if it means I can get unemployment but if I won't get it, I'd rather maintain control and quit. I haven't been looking for other work but I guess I need to.
