Hi all, I’ve been a self employed/contract worker for a few years and was trying to find some stable pay while I build up my business again. On a whim, applied for an overnight job (probably overqualified for given my master’s but you know how it is). Almost immediately canceled the Google Meet interview invitation last week when I saw there were seven attendees other than myself. Is there ever any reason to have seven interviewers for a entry level position other than to intimidate and grill you? At any rate, got a call this morning asking if I was showing up and five minutes later got an email that they decline to move forward despite me being the one that declined.
