I work in an factory and we produce car parts of different manufactures. I get payed good and it was also a nice environment to work about a year ago they had a change in the top management.
Since then it got worse every day. We had no space and there was ALWAYS something in your way and they didn't wanted to repair the factory plant so they would have more time we produced car parts. (I think so the boss can show his boss how “effective” we are) But now we have way more parts that get thrown away and it sucks to work there.
We can give ideas for improvement and get 25% of the savings in one year as bonus pay but my ideas I gave make about 20-40k euros per year and they didn't wanted to pay that.
They told me I should do what I suggested and we can see on the plant how much time it needs for one part. After my changes it would be with there formula the 20-40k per year more earnings for the company and when they payed me just a couple hundreds as bonus I asked why it's just that little.
In the meeting they acted like I haven't told them what I wanted to do and told me I manipulated the factory plant and should be happy I don't get fired. After I heard that I immediately searched for a new job and quitted my job last week. We have manditory 4 weeks notice in my country but I will leave at the end of next week because of vacation days I still have.
Now they won't be able to produce something because it's the most difficult plant in my factory and I was the only one left that knew how it works and there are a lot of translation errors and all around really strange behavior you just have to know because it just stands still and displays no error.
Today I told HR in a meeting that was supposed to take 10 min but took 1 hour that I am leaving (and many more workers) because of him.
Ultimately I don't care what happens next for the company but it would be really funny if that shitty boss gets fired. I already have a new job that's closer to my place better schedule and waaaay more chill work.
