I had a sudden surgery last week and was told to rest for 7 days but for some reason I feel “bad” about missing work. I know there is absolutely no reason to feel guilty because I’m supposed to be healing, and Health>Work, but there are days where I feel like I’m doing something wrong.
Maybe it’s my concern? Maybe I’m concerned that my employer will retaliate and threaten my job, thus adding more stress to my financial situation? I’m not sure. But I’m sure I’m not the only one who gets this looming feeling whenever I take time off.
