In the UK currently inflation is at 9% and expected to get worse yet our wages haven't been adjusted at all in potentially years.
I'm lucky in the fact I live at home so I just make money and it piles up but I plan to move out soon and get into the real world and what the real world is telling me is that these wages are not suitable for surviving on.
It's unacceptable nothing is being done about it and we can't simply stand by and just endure and suffer.
Folks have families to look after. We're a small team working for a multi-billion dollar company. We're the lowest paid in the country and things are either going to change or they're going to lose tens of thousands of pounds per day when they no longer have the staff.
If they aren't willing to invest in us as workers we aren't going to invest in them as a company. They'll learn real quick what happens when they have no workers left.
