This was told to me by a couple of my supervisors at work. I have been through ongoing medical problems and have needed unexpected time off beyond my sick time. They want to make sure I'm physically and mentally ok. Oh I should mention that I work at a college dining hall which is a union job. I'm happy that I feel valued as a person and if I need time to recover medically my work place is actually helpful. I hope you all one-day have a job that will treat you like a person.
