new manager wants me to tell her all the days I can’t work… after the schedule is published?

I have a new job, and three weeks into that new job, also got a new manager. I'm still adjusting to both, and don't really know the manager at all yet. over the weekend, the manager changed my upcoming schedule as early as two weeks from now all the way through July. this schedule had been available and posted since April, so I'd already made future plans for days I was off. the manager's changes conflicted with some of my plans. when I emailed them to let them know which newly scheduled days I could not work, they said: “In the future, please put in the days you scheduled plans for in [website] after the schedule is first published. when I emailed them to let them know which newly scheduled days I could not work, they said:

“In the future, please put in the days you scheduled plans for in [website] after the schedule is first published. Many of the other people on your team have put in days that they cannot work from June – September, with that being said I tried to accommodate as many of those requests as possible, so the schedule will probably change from time to time. After a schedule is released, and you've planned something, please enter the days you cannot work in [website] so I know not to change your schedule around.”

so… after a schedule is posted, I need to go in and let my employer know every single day I've planned a doctor's visit, or a camping trip, or lunch with a friend from out of town, or a nail trim appointment for my dog, etc? I feel like this is an unreasonable request, but perhaps it's not and I'm overreacting. what do you think?
