What’s a better way to say “I need this job because I’m a poor, recent college graduate”?

I know this is a subreddit about being antiwork, but until that day, I still need a job. I finally got my first job interview after graduating college and I was thinking of potential questions that could come up during the interview. I’ve only had 3 interviews in my life and I’m kinda thrown off guard since the plan was for me to go to grad school right out of college, but I didn’t get into grad school so now I’m looking for a job until I can reapply for grad school.

So I’ve come here to ask, what is the most professional way I can say I want this job so I can pay the bills?
