I am sharing this because even the general hobby of using Reddit, posting comments, proofreading them for appropriateness, sharing posts in subs, and writing programs in QB64 can really give this idea on what it feels like to be constantly typing a computer keyboard if one were to work at a downtown computer office downtown.
I've been writing some homemade programs on QB64 lately, and and also sharing comments on Reddit and other websites, and I start to think, well, it's starting to feel like some office job. I type so much code on QB64, and share it in the /r/QBprograms subreddit, that now I wonder if Silicon Valley might want to summon me for some projects, but then again, I'd rather be sitting at home during the pandemic than deal with jumping through hoops with ridiculous requirements working at some San Francisco Bay Area suburbs such as Palo Alto or San Jose for some job that drains energy out of me. If it was an easy go, I would go there.
but I'm starting to develop some weird vibe like I'm sitting at an office cubicle or something.
What are your thoughts on this?
