Ive had this convo with my brother before how the world doesn’t necessarily need money. Money realistically is just the physical form of a promise. Money is just something to hold you accountable for stealing. Wether that be by not giving something you promised for work done or straight up stealing. I Understand supply and demand but I can’t help but feel like we as humans just don’t understand even distribution.
You mean to tell me a plane leaves the runway every 30 minuets, boats load up and leave to cross oceans in hours. Yet we just don’t have enough? So inflation? Every place I’ve ever worked at has produced so much waste that could be simply given away but they make it illegal to even do that. I can see how inflation could maybe apply to something like lithium ion batteries but for our basic needs? The same needs we’ve been fulfilling for years somehow just… costs more? Homes that sit on the same land just… cost more? we can throw money in any direction we want but we choose to not throw it at the people that need it? I just can’t wrap my head around it. I hate to be the out of touch with reality hippie sounding looser but is money even fucking real dude!?!?!?!?!???
