My friend just got fired from a billion dollar tech company as part of layoffs. Ok, I get that, whatever. But she just told me they are hiring marketing execs – HER JOB, WHILST they are firing marketing execs. They started hiring three months ago and CONTINUE to hire because they need marketing execs … whilst they fire their existing marketing execs? Am I not sniffing enough glue for this to make sense?
