I’m in a remote area of Alaska we’ve had a pretty rough winter, I just moved here like 6 months ago some elders have told us at my job it the worst since the 80s. Any way my boss gets upset if enough people can’t get in to open the bank. Right now the roads are so bad from the rain and snow combo we’ve had this week the school is canceled, the hospital is only open for emergencies and only has staff that is needed to come in, but the bank it must be open. I really hate because she doesn’t want to close I have to use my pto since I car Share with my mom in law and her work is closed. I wish my other coworkers understood that if it’s not safe that a job is not worth risking your life.
