2 Weeks Notice Dilemma

Hey, I'm looking for a bit or advice. I have put in my 2 weeks Notice at my current employer. I had a week of leave already booked in prior to giving my 2 weeks notice but had to change the dates due to some family issues. My employer refused to change the dates, which was going to be swapping 2 days from one week to the next week.(I was going to go into work for 2 days I had booked off then take those 2 days the following week) How bad is it of me if I take the days that they refused to swap off as sick days without pay?(would get a certificate) I would be returning to work after for the remainder of my notice period. I have put in my 2 weeks Notice at my current employer. I had a week of leave already booked in prior to giving my 2 weeks notice but had to change the dates due to some family issues. I feel bad about doing it but my boss has been an egotistical arrogant prick to me for the last 3 years to the point of it being borderline harrassment/bullying that I'm not sure if I care.

My immediate manager has been a good guy and I would want to keep him as a future reference if needed, I don't think that he would care if I took those days or not. Me taking those days off would not put any pressure on other co-workers either.
I'm a very non confrontational, soft spoken person so even when getting harrassed by my boss I would barely speak up. I've never done something like this before so I'd really appreciate any advice.
