With mental health issues in teens being on the rise, do you think the work environments teens usually work in are playing a role?

I ask this because now there is more conversation about mental health, especially within our teenagers. I’m 23, and worked in retail and fast food. Those areas are not always the healthiest to be in, especially when you’re a stressed out teen dealing with the pressures of school, pleasing parents, activities, getting into college, etc.. I’ve struggled with my mental health, and when I was a teen, I did not seek Help for my mental health out of fear. Having worked in those areas made my mental health worse. Especially fast food. Now I’m not saying we need to baby workers, but if adults in those industries are struggling mentally from burnout, imagine what it’s doing to teens who may not always know how to deal with stress. Now work may have an opposite affect where it can improve someone’s mental health, but it does seem like being in certain…
