Should I Ghost New Job

So I got a new job and I start tomorrow. I have a bad feeling about the job however because it requires driving and during my interview I was told that I would be driving to local sites. (I work in healthcare.) Turns out I will actually be driving in the tristate area. This omission rubs me the wrong way. Second, I waited a week to hear back from the employer after the interview. She leaves me a voicemail asking for my email. I call her back and give it to her. Then she asks me for her supervisor. I get forwarded to her boss where he asks me about some insurance information. I tell him that I was just calling to give my supervisor my email so she can forward me some sign on papers. Two days later still not getting an email I call back asking if they…

Two days later still not getting an email I call back asking if they still need my email. The lady who interviewed me goes no but I will need you to talk to my supervisor. I say ok… I get the call forwarded to his line and he once again asks me about this insurance issue they're having. I play along and guess I solved his problem and hung up.

Two days later the lady who interviewed me calls me asking if I still want the job and she hasn't heard from me l. Me confused says yes and didn't bother bringing up all those times I called her and left my email on the voicemail. She says great and finally sends the documents and says my colleague who is training me will call me on memorial day evening. I say great.

So the guy didn't call me until 7:30Pm. This rubs me the wrong way. I didn't think by evening they'd be calling me so late. I don't want them to think they can just call me whenever to give me work. It's not an on call position. To top it all off they're only comping me on 40 cents per mile and paying me $15 an hour.

I need the job as I am unemployed but I'm not liking this pattern so far. What do you guys think?
