So I have someone coming to rip out the bathroom on the 2nd of June. I informed my boss of this weeks in advance to arrange me a day off for that one day.
Boss goes on holiday after saying he'll look into it.
Comes back after holiday, being the 30th and questions what I am talking about and states “He'll look into it.” This is 3 days before I'm expecting this guy to turn up.
Am I bring unreasonable that I am pissed off at my manager when I asked this to be arranged weeks in advance? And it looks like nothing is going to be resolved and I might not get the day off at all?
