Fucked out of OT Pay

I worked a 16 hour shift on Memorial Day, for 2.5x pay. I clocked in, clocked out – and my timecard didn't show that extra time, which I then didn't get paid for. I contacted my payroll department who said they'd cut me a check on my next normal pay period. No, fuck you – I missed out on time at home with my family for extra money. If I don't meet my obligations to the company, I'm subject to disciplinary action because of it. Who holds you responsible when you fuck up and don't pay me what I'm owed? That's right – nobody. If I were a customer that overpayed for products you'd correct the issue immediately – so why isn't this handled the same way?
