Hi all, I had a trip last year and brought back gifts only for my friends at work and a senior coworker I respect and work with. I didn’t get anything for my boss (almost gave into the thought of buying something for them, but then I was like why…).
Going on a trip again in two months, I plan to do the same as before. Since the time of my last trip, I have a new coworker I work with and I don’t see them more than a coworker. I feel obligated to get them something just cause I work with them but I really don’t want to. How do I play it off? Also how can I give one coworker (one I respect) a gift and not the other? Do I just give it after work or out of view?
TLDR; would you guys bring back anything for coworkers you work with?
