here's a fun little experiment to try with your friends and family . simply ask them “what's the job description of a landlord” . usually they'll either have no idea what to say because , it's not a real job . because , let's be real . they have more in common with tape worms than the actual working class , living paycheck to paycheck . another response tends to be something like “owning land” . which , yeah ? so do a lot of other people , and they're not getting paid for it . they just rely on other people's income , and use it for their own benefit .
i'm honestly curious if anyone has done this , and to share the responses people have given to that question . because most if not all people i've asked have only given those two responses .
it's honestly so sad that capitalism has come so far , that people can just horde land from others . so people don't have any other places to live . then are forced to pay some random schmuck to have a roof over their head , despite an overwhelming majority of landlords not even taking care of the property . all they do is take advantage of other people's lower income situations . because most people under 25 , believe it or not , can't afford to put a fucking down payment on a house . quite shocking .
