I'm honestly thrilled that I can get paid to go to jury duty instead of my job. I hope I land a nice trial. Someone said, “well, you could get sequestered,” meaning they'll put me up in a Days Inn or something and I can just chill out writing in my diary and reading good books.
Has anyone had similar feelings, or actually landed a sweet jury opportunity where they got a break from work?
I'm thinking if I get on a trial, I'll come back and say I need to use my PTO to recover.
