Hey everyone! I wanted to ask what I should do about this?
Yesterday, my boss called me and said random work items we needed like usual. Then when I mentioned a problem from another manager thinking he owns my time, I respectfully inform him (which he said he already knew). I asked him why he didn’t defend me but my boss, the ever spineless coward he is, gave some bs answer. Then he said “Oh I know you work so hard and you may not like this with Dicky (other manager). I can give you a great recommendation letter”. Confused, I replied “I’m no quitter.” And continued discussing other work tasks. Later my boss asked me of all the work tasks I do. My ex-coworker informed me this is EXACTLY what they did before she was made to resign.
What should I do? I need this job for health insurance. Any advice appreciated!
