Interview in person

Today I had a company (that I had interviewed with 2 years ago), call and ask if I were still interested in a role I had applied for. The first time was in the prime of the pandemic and I had to go to their office, wearing a mask. I have no idea what the person I interviewed with looked like. Today, I was at work, so couldn't check what I had applied to (nor why I would apply to this horrible place again). I asked if I would have to go to the office again to interview. She said “yes, it would be in person”. I just replied “Gas is $5 a gallon today. I am NOT going to waste my gas on an initial interview. No WONDER you can't find anyone to work for you!!” and just hung up. Ugh!
