Envious of others

I usually work stock at the store I work at, but occasionally they have me cashiering since we’re so shorthanded and the conversations I hear customers having really anger me. Usually it’s old people but sometimes it’s people younger than me talking about how they’re wondering which home they’ll stay at for the winter and about their new cars and they usually carry designer bags and wallets on them. It just infuriates me how these people have this sort of luxury while I’m struggling to keep my apartment and eat. This is a small town grocery store too so it’s not uncommon for customers to be dropping 400+ on groceries and I see them again the next week spending even more. Even more ridiculous is that I see these same people driving their super cars to the food shelf and taking what people like me could use. Am I the…
