I left my job about 6 months ago, actually was pushed out after over a decade of loyalty. Quite frankly they screwed me over and took advantage of me. I don’t like confrontation so I didn’t burn any bridges and left quietly and respectfully. I figured I would at some point get asked for help. Well that finally happened yesterday.
While the task would of been small I asked to be paid for my time. I hadn’t even given an amount before I received a very passive aggressive no. I guess they expected to take advantage of me a little more as there was no way they thought my time was worth anything.
