You know, professionalism is such bullshit. Treat your coworkers and customers like people! We know when you speak with strained smiles and chippy tones. I’m so sick of it!
I’m at work and I constantly get talked down too and I get spoken too in a “ hello customer” Tone, and frankly I’m sick of it. I’m DAMN GOOD at my job, and get nonstop praises from almost everyone around me, but yet I still get scolded for NOTHING!
Like sure okay, maybe I wasn’t glued to my task 100% but that’s no reason to treat me like I don’t know how to be an functional adult!
It’s just this corporate need to be controlling and make the people under you feel like dumb babies who need to be under strict guidance. People don’t want that! We should not be treated like we are dumb or unworthy of respect.
Just cause I make less money than you, doesn’t mean I’m worthless!
