I work in a not for profit, self sufficient, government agency directly involved in fighting climate change.
I have a union. Good working conditions. Good work life balance. I work with chill people. I make slightly above the median wage for my age cohort in my internship. I want to work in public service forever, but the lower wages make me insecure. Also, I have student debt.
Without sharing details, I think my resume is very competitive and I wonder about going to the private sector for more money. Also, I think about leaving for Europe because I don't believe I should owe any money in student debt.
