My friend who I now work for asked me to quit my other job I had on saturdays. I agreeed for the promise of 25hrs guaranteeed and a raise to 16.50 an hour. So fair ive gotten 20 hours guaranteed and when I asked about the raise of 50 cents I got some bullshit about needing to pay off her loan quicker so she can get more product for the store. I literally am basically on call for her everyday and am ruining my car running deliveries for her.
The best part is I saw her payroll calculations and I am the lowest paid which is bullshit because one of the girls literally doesnt do anything extra ever but oh well.
Shes a great boss whos dealt with my mental issues like a champ but kids, dont promise something and then back out…it makes you look like a prick.
