I was really excited to work for this company because of the higher up individuals that worked there and I really respected their career paths and thought it would be a good place to grow. I had multiple offers in a variety of different Finance roles post graduate.
From day one I showed that I was committed to working hard (stayed 2-3 hours sometimes afterwards due to strict deadlines) and the training was inadequate and didn’t get any interaction with managing directors. Coworkers were rude or condescending towards me from the first day I had even started and I felt isolated from socializing due to this. The partner of the firm came up to me during the last 15 minutes of work and told me “this isn’t working” and wouldn’t elaborate and asked me to leave. I’m absolute devastated.
