Great Employer turned bad. Should we stay or should we go now?

I have been working for a pretty awesome IT company for a year now. We have had a great team, great moral and overall our clients are very happy. A week ago we hired a new service delivery manager. He previously worked at a call center. In all of his emails he sends he includes this is how things are done in call centers. He micro manages us which in turn makes it so that we are less productive because instead of resolving problems we are focusing on metrics. He took our work from home day away because one employee was not preforming well. He constantly stands over our shoulders and sends dumb messages throughout the day. Is it time for us to leave? We had a great guy I will call J that was kinda mentoring the team and it was going well but he is super busy…

Is it time for us to leave? We had a great guy I will call J that was kinda mentoring the team and it was going well but he is super busy with his tech work. Some of the guys that have been here longer are talking about just leaving. New employees being hired on are being paid more than me and other employees. Is this a true sign of a downhill ride?
