Stirring the pot.

Well I finally got to our local nurses union. They posted to Facebook after a year of “negotiations” that they're taking the summer off for the members (Nurses), so they can get vacation in. The thing is, that most nurses who don't work in an administrative position or clinic have been denied their vacation for years and have to get a lot paid out. I took to social media denouncing their moves and said we need to look at a strike to get the ball rolling. After multiple emails beforehand to the union president, it seemed to have struck a chord as she messaged me personally with a bullshit excuse. Our nursing shortage is bad, many are quitting and taking on new careers. They're stuck in their old ways of recruiting and retainment and a revolution needs to happen. Stand by your nurses no matter where you are.
